CLIMAX BLUES BAND WELCOMES SCOTT RALPH

We are proud to announce an exciting addition to the Climax Blues Band line-up as we keep moving forward.

Please welcome the arrival of Signor Scott Ralph, Vocalist/ Guitarist, Brass instrument player and recognized songwriter.

He is well known to CBB, and we look forward to sharing the stage.

Sadly we have had to say goodbye to Graham Dee, who has been a valuable part of the band and helped over the last ten years to move the band forward while retaining the Climax sound and vision. But he has now decided to retire from the band.

We wish him all the possible best with everything he proceeds with.

Scott’s career to date has been diverse, to say the least, working closely with artists from Robbie Williams to Engelbert Humperdinck, having achieved platinum record sales with the latter signed to EMI Publishing and scoring songs such as the single’ Morning Sun’ working alongside Trevor Horn and Lol Creme of 10cc.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Scott can turn his hand to various instruments, from backing vocals for Michael Bublé to playing session brass for artists such as Nile Rogers, Tom Jones and Rudimental, playing brass and solo trumpet on their number one hit ‘These Days’.

Fueled by a passion for the vintage sound (in particular music of the ’60s and ’70’s), Scott has been fortunate enough to tour with legends like Chairman of the Board and The Contours, giving him a real insight into the Motown sound, having spent time with legends such as Ken Knox and Joe Billingslea.

With a studio based in the UK and one out in the mountains of Portugal, Scott is continually producing and writing music and is excited to be involved in creating the next CBB album.
