Welcome to the 32nd Lichfield Blues & Jazz Festival! The festival this year features everything from the rockin’ blues of Catfish, as well as the Climax Blues Band, through to the swingin’ sounds of the Jim Wynn Swingtet, and the Lichfield Jazz Big Band. Returning to Lichfield once again will be the sensational guitarist Remi Harris with his Jazz and Blues Trio, as well as the virtuoso guitarist and bassist Fred T Baker.
There’s several new elements to the festival this year too, as we venture into the world of Latin and Salsa music with the wonderful group Del Camino, and we welcome in the Lindy Hop dance community by hosting a dance workshop, as well as a swing dance!
Similar to previous festivals, we’ve included a large element of the festival for free, and this includes an entire day at the BitterSuite pub where you can see four great bands, as well as youth jazz workshops, jazz lunches, and the annual jazz and blues service!
